POLICIES
Our school works with SchoolDocs Ltd to have a website for our policies and procedures. The site is live and available to our school community here.
The school works on a subscription basis with SchoolDocs Ltd to maintain, update, and review our policies. SchoolDocs provides us with a comprehensive core set of policies which have been well researched, reviewed by experts and follow the Ministry of Education's National Administration Guidelines.
The policies and procedures are tailored to our school, and the school supplies specific information such as our charter, and procedures for behaviour management, reporting to parents etc. SchoolDocs Ltd updates, modifies, or creates policies in response to changes in legislation or Ministry guidelines, significant events, reviews/requests from schools, and regular reviewing from the SchoolDocs team.
Our board of trustees, staff and community have the opportunity to view changes/additions and comment on them before they’re implemented. We’ll advise our people when policies are up for review and how they can take part in the review.
Policies and procedures will be available on Schooldocs. https://manutuke.schooldocs.co.nz
(note that there's no "www."). Our username is "manutuke" and password "waingake".

CONCERNS or COMPLAINTS
In the event of an issue arising, please approach the Class Teacher in the first instance if it relates to a child or that teacher. (1st instance)
In the event that the complaint is not resolved, then please follow this line of contact:
● Contact the Teacher's Senior Teacher or Syndicate Leader (2nd instance)
● Contact the Principal, (3rd instance)
● Contact the Board of Trustees (in writing if you feel that none of the before steps have helped)
In our experience concerns are normally resolved quickly when the concerns are communicated promptly.
Whilst we have many support systems in place to ensure concerns are dealt with effectively, please appreciate we value your input in alerting us if you feel a problem exists that requires attention.
