Ko Te Arai te Awa, Rongowhakaata Tangata!   He hiringa mahara, he manawa maurea.
Te Arai is the river, and we are peoples of Rongowhakaata.
Rising from the depths of the ancients, heralding our future potential in the world

Whakahere i nga hapu, whakakotahi i nga whanau Ki te puna o te aroha, te pono me te tika!
Fortify our relationships, and unify our family ties to the source that is aroha,

having faith in our differences, but still operating from our shared values base

Tu mai ra te taumata tipua Manawaru Komura mai nga korero o nehera i a koe!
Stand true and tall, the summit of our collective delight
And shine down upon us the teachings of old emanating from your wisdoms

He tata a runga, he roa a raro!
The heavens are close, but the road forward is long...
